Performing and Teaching Artist
Biography
Jenna Zielinski is a New York-based performing and teaching artist. She was born and raised on Long Island, where she still resides today. She completed a five-year BFA/EdM program at Rutgers University where she graduated with her EdM in PK-12 Dance Education from the Graduate School of Education in May 2019 and with her BFA in Dance from Mason Gross School of the Arts in May 2018. Jenna has been dancing since she was two years old in a variety of styles which include, Jazz, Ballet, Tap, Contemporary, Modern, Hip-Hop, and more.

Recently, Jenna performed on the national tour of Trolls LIVE! with V Star Entertainment Group. In 2020, she started as a performer at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida, and was working there up until the pandemic hit. Prior to that, she spent the 2019 holiday season performing with RWS Entertainment Group as a part of Winterfest at Kings Dominion in Doswell, Virginia. Other performance credits include Feld Entertainment's Trolls the Experience, To The Stage’s A Chorus Line, and Livingston Theatre Company’s Oklahoma! and Legally Blonde. During her time at Mason Gross, she performed works by choreographers, Keith A. Thompson, John Evans, and Chien-Ying Wang. She choreographed pieces in Mason Gross’ BFA Senior Solo/Duet Concert and BFA Senior Dance Concert.

Jenna teaches dance and kids yoga all over New York. She is a teaching artist with Marquis Studios and teaches kids yoga with Yogi Beans. She recently choreographed High School Musical Jr. for the Oceanside School District. She was previously the resident choreographer for the theater company, Thinkery & Verse. She choreographed two of their new works, a one-act musical, Rita, The Cleaning Lady, and Thou Shalt Not, a stage-play re-imagining the Hall-Mills double homicide of 1922.
